Rajasthan High Court seeks BCI, government inputs on protection of lawyers from violence.

The Rajasthan High Court has asked the Bar Council of India (BCI) and the state government to provide inputs on how lawyers can be protected from violence and threats. The court’s decision comes in the wake of recent incidents of violence against lawyers in the state.

The court has asked the BCI and the government to submit their suggestions within two weeks. The court has also expressed concern over the safety of lawyers, stating that they are often targeted for carrying out their duties.

The court has called for measures to be put in place to ensure the safety of lawyers and prevent such incidents from happening in the future. The move has been welcomed by the legal community in the state, who have been demanding greater protection for lawyers.
